In memory of Simphiwe Moropane (28), Mduduzi Ndlovu (40), and Khathutshelo Muedi (37), who lost their lives fighting the fire that engulfed the Gauteng Health Department’s offices on September 5, 2018.

Reatile Moalusi’s photography spans documentary and art with a sense of immediate presence. Early in 2018 he was selected to present alongside 150-odd others at the New York Times Portfolio Review. His ongoing body of work, Mollo Wa Bodimo––based on the melanin-depleting skin condition––vitiligo, is currently on exhibition at Vogue’s Photo Festival in Milan, Italy.
